Chile con Carne

¼ cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 T butter
¼ cup chili powder
1 T flour
1 T salt
2 lb ground beef
2 cups tomatoes
1 small can tomato juice
1 tsp oregano
¼ tsp cumin

Brown meat in butter. Cook all other ingredients with meat for about 2 hours over a slow fire. Add water if too thick.
